An on-call officer will respond to an emergency callout through Navajo County Sheriff Dispatch for the following reasons only:
- Animal Bites
- Animal Attacks
- Animal Injuries
- All Potential Rabies Issues or Exposures (including bats in sleeping quarters)
- Law Enforcement Assistance

*Please also note that calls about stray animals and barking dogs DO NOT constitute a valid reason for an emergency callout and will be responded to on the next business day.
If it is an imminent life or death emergency:

*Please note that Animal Control WILL NOT respond to any of the following:
- Snakes in living or sleeping quarters
- Wild animals walking across yards
- Bats in attics or open carports
- Animals under houses or up in trees
