Jayson Vowell
Finance Director
Jayson Vowell, Navajo County Finance Director, started with Navajo County in August 2020. Prior to coming to Navajo County, Jayson worked for Pinal County, Arizona in the Finance Department for 6 ½ years and has over 19 years of governmental accounting experience working for different local governments in Arizona.
Jayson received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Arizona State University in May 2001. He received his Master of Public Administration degree from the University of Phoenix in February 2016.
Jayson is a licensed Certified Public Accountant. He is a member of the Government Finance Officers Association (GFOA), the Arizona Society of CPAs (ASCPA), and the Association of Government Accountants (AGA).
Jayson is married to his wife Aubrey and they have six children. In his spare time, he enjoys sports and being in the outdoors.
