Hunter Lewis

Hunter Lewis was elected as Justice of the Peace for Precinct III in 2022. Prior to taking the bench, Judge Lewis was a deputy county attorney for Navajo County and spent time in private practice. Judge Lewis is born and raised in Snowflake and is a graduate of Snowflake High School. He previously served on the Snowflake Town Council, Snowflake-Taylor Chamber of Commerce Board, and the Snowflake Academy Foundation Board.

The Snowflake Justice Court handles misdemeanor criminal cases, civil traffic, felony initial appearances and preliminary hearings, orders of protection/harassment, evictions, and civil matters of $10,000 or less. The Precinct Three Justice Court serves the communities of Snowflake, Taylor, Heber and Overgaard.
