The Right-Of-Way (ROW) refers to the travel surface, shoulders, and a recovery zone of roads. Navajo County manages County Maintained Road Right-Of-Ways. The standard width for new subdivision roads ranges from 50 feet to 250 feet based on the classification of the road. Any work that impacts the Right-Of-Way requires a free permit from a County Road Yard.

A few examples include:

  • Culvert installation or repair
  • Driveway construction
  • Mailbox installation
  • Utility installation or repair
