The 2nd half 2019 property taxes are still due no later than May 1, 2020 by 5 pm. Property tax deadlines are set by Arizona Revised Statute 42-18052. Extensions and changes in due dates can only be done by the legislature with approval from the Governor. At this time, no extension has been given for the second half property tax payments.

The 2nd half 2019 property taxes are due. Failure to receive a tax statement in late September or early October is not a legal reason for waiving interest. The Treasurer must assess interest on all delinquent balances at the annual rate of 16%, prorated monthly on the first day of each month. Second half payments that are not postmarked, made through the web or by phone (vitalchek) by May 1st at 5:00pm will incur interest. First half payments that haven't been received have been accruing interest since November. Taxpayers can retrieve the current amount that is owed via website or utilize the contact information at the bottom of this page.
